Coffee Sustainability Program
The Coffee Sustainability Program explores the challenges and opportunities of implementing sustainability practices across the coffee value chain, from farm to cup. Designed for coffee professionals at all stages, the program provides a progressive learning path through three levels—Foundation and Intermediate courses—equipping participants with job-relevant knowledge and leadership skills.
Starting with the Coffee Sustainability Foundation course, learners gain a solid understanding of core sustainability principles and the key challenges facing the coffee industry. Building on this foundation, three specialized intermediate courses—Climate and Coffee, Economics and Prosperity, and Social Well-Being—dive deeper into environmental, economic, and social sustainability. These modules cover topics like climate-smart agriculture, carbon footprint mitigation, alternative trade models, and social equity.
Through a blend of theoretical learning, practical projects, and leadership-focused discussions, participants develop a toolkit to champion sustainable initiatives within their own organizations. This program empowers individuals to make a meaningful impact, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable coffee sector.
